Cloudspire Customer Portal Guide
Everything an extension user can do in the portal, from calls and voicemail to billing.
The Customer Portal is a self-service web application for Cloudspire Voice extension users. It provides a browser-based softphone, call history, voicemail management, settings, phonebook access, and call queue agent controls, all from a single interface.
This guide is intended for end users. For system administration, see the Administration Guide.
Need help while you work? The Need a hand? button in the bottom-right corner of the portal opens Spire, the built-in assistant. The button always stays in that corner and cannot be moved or hidden; the × at the top of the Spire window closes the window, not the button. Ask it product questions in your own words: how to use your phone, the softphone and mobile apps, voicemail, transfers, call handling; and it answers from the product knowledge base and points you the right way. When your phone will not make or receive calls, it can also check your own line: which of your devices are connected right now, whether Do Not Disturb or call forwarding is on, where a call you do not answer goes (your own voicemail, or wherever your administrator sent it), and whether your line is set up to call outside numbers. It changes nothing on its own. The one thing it can do for you is add a contact to one of your phonebooks when you send it a name and number to save: it shows the contact on a card first, and nothing is saved until you press Add contact. If your login can open support tickets for your company, Spire can open one for you too: it shows the ticket on a card first, and nothing is filed until you press Open ticket. If you would rather not open a ticket, Spire gives you the support email address instead.
